And hey, I like science and understated witty belittlement in equal measure (..also, there’s a more famous Phil Taylor<\/a> to contend with).<\/p>\n

I frequently communicate my science<\/a> at conferences, workshops and user group meetings. Recent topics have included the UK Lakes Portal, developing apps for algal bloom detection, adapting the whisky industry to climate change, and updating 100-year-old loch bathymetry data (see below).
